The official unveiling of the A B “Banjo” Paterson statue was held on February 17, 2021. Unveiled by Mr Ian McNamara A.M., the statue takes pride of place at the Banjo Paterson… more than a Poet’ Exhibit. Celebrating Banjo’s 157th birthday, the three metre high sculpture depicts Banjo in his uniform as Major of the Allied Remount Station in Egypt.
