Banjo’s ‘Clancy of the Overflow’ Now Available in Japanese

Written and published in The Bulletin in 1889, ‘Clancy of the Overflow’ is one of Paterson’s best loved poems. This romantic tale has delighted several generations and is now available in a Japanese language edition.

It links together a number of stories and facts to produce a story of drover Clancy from the “Overflow Station” on the Gunningbah Creek (100km south of Nyngan) to Booligal on the lower Lachlan River where Mr Clancy was the Pound Keeper.

We know they will enjoy it as much as we have over the years!
